Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was clean and tidy, though a bit old-fashioned and hot at night due to other customers having their heating on; however, the service was lovely, especially when they found out we were NHS and gave us a free drink. The location was ideal, close to both Cabot's Circus and the harbor, making it easy to walk to main sights and a variety of places to eat nearby. The dining experience was adequate but had some delays in serving food. Overall, a friendly place with a great location.
The hotel is centrally located near lively areas for nightlife and leisure activities; however, noise might be an issue for light sleepers. The rooms, although modern and comfortable, run warm without adjustable AC controls, impacting sleep quality. The service was friendly and helpful but lacked thorough room maintenance.
The hotel's location is its selling point, with easy access to cultural attractions and historic sights, but construction noise was a downside. The rooms could use an update and more attention to cleanliness, but the river view adds charm. The dining experience was pleasant with a variety of tasty options, although service could be more consistent.
